Collage of Happiness
Moments of Happiness
The images below are pictures of some of the things that make me happy. First of all, my family, their support motivates me, to be who I am and keep growing. That is also why I am so thankful as they have taught me what is right and what is wrong. Then tacos, it's one of my favorite foods and I love Mexican culture. Then there is music, I listen to all kinds of music and it makes me feel at peace with myself. Next is the picture of my dog, I love my two dogs because they are very affectionate with me. Then, the picture of my brother and me. Even though we don't get along sometimes because of fights, we always have a smile for each other. Then there's the tennis table, because it's a sport I'm currently playing. I like to appreciate the sunsets, which makes me happy because every day is different. The beach makes me happy because of the sound of the waves that are relaxing and the water. Art makes me happy because I like to appreciate every detail and to be able to use my creativity. Then, there are some photos of friends that make me smile and I like to spend time with them. It makes me happy to take care of my face and apply products. Lastly, this photo is a combination of two things I like, reading and traveling. It makes me happy because I have had the opportunity to see some places and reading makes me happy when I like the plot of the story.
Analysis of "Into the Wild" main character
The first chapters of the book "Into the Wild", by Jon Krakauer, introduce the protagonist in the prologue as Christopher McCandless. Later, he is referred to as "Alex." He is a young man embarking on a journey of self-discovery and away from norms. He is presented as a person who does not like material things because of his ideas that to live happily one does not depend on material things but on the little things that life gives. Before this, he had a very different life, he had everything. He was intelligent and studious and after graduating he decided to donate his money to charity. This makes him look like a person who wants to have a connection with himself and with nature, for this very reason, he refused what was offered to him. The author's intention to compare what the character's life was like before and during his adventure to Alaska, shows us that he wants to separate or move away from what people expect from him, including his family. He prefers to be the one in control of his decisions without the support to live the life he wants.
